At this stage, babies are still getting most of their nutrition from their liquid diet (breast milk or formula), so don’t worry if you think the caloric intake of their fruits and veggies is minimal. They will come around. The important thing is to keep the eating process a light-hearted and pressure-free experience—for both of you. Stress at mealtime does not teach good habits. We want our children to have a healthy relationship with the food they eat.
