My baseboards, doors and window casings are white but they need to be freshened up. Do they need 2 coats?

• In most cases no….. providing they are going to be recoated in white. One good coat of acrylic latex or a quality oil will be more than enough to cover. • Exceptions to the above would include trim pieces that were white but have since yellowed due to aging.
