For a boa to go three weeks without defecating is not unusual at all. This, in and of itself, definately does not mean that the snake is constipated. Make sure it has the proper habitat (heat, water bowl, hiding places) and keep on feeding. Snakes, boids especially, store waste for periods of time, so don’t think that every time you feed your snake it should defecate. Snakes don’t have the metabolism of mammals. That’s not how their systems operate.
