The court does not notify Volunteer Fairfax when cases are reinstated into the program. Until the client informs Volunteer Fairfax that a continuance has been granted, the client’s case remains closed. ACS staff will not contact any agency to verify hours unless instructed to do so by the client. Clients should be aware that if they are granted reinstatement by the court, they may have to pay an additional administrative fee.
