If you are using Glycosil-only hydrogels there won’t be any cell adherence on the surface. The Gelin-S in Glycosan’s standard hydrogel kits provides the cellular attachment sites. If Gelin-S is not used, then either ECM proteins or attachment peptides (like RGD) need to be incorporated into the hydrogel.
