My child also has Plagiocephaly, and we’re not sure if we want to use a helmet/band, etc. Does repositioning really work, or will we still have to go the helmet route?

Repositioning can work, but it takes a lot of work and a lot of repositioning. A lot of times parents who chose not to helmet at first try repositioning, and end up having to get a helmet anyway. Every situation is different, and it depends on how severe your child’s Plagiocephaly is in regards to helmet or not. Try repositioning first for a couple weeks, and if you don’t see any improvements, consider using a helmet.
