My childs SAT/ACT scores should get him/her into a good school. What benefits would tutoring provide?
Many schools offer scholarships that are increased proportionally with grade point average and SAT/ACT scores. By increasing SAT or ACT scores, a student who would have simply paid the full amount to attend a school may now get thousands of dollars per year in scholarships. Schools offer these incentives to persuade students who have high SAT and ACT scores to choose the school offering the scholarship. They do this to boost the average SAT and ACT score of the incoming freshman class, and thus make the school look better statistically in the next college ranking. Additionally, our tutoring program has been proven to help students increase their SAT scores by 150-300 points and more. This large increase can open up the possibility of attending a college that was once thought to be unattainable.
