My daughter will be 15 months at Christmas…we are extremely tight on money. What would be a good gift for the grandparents from all of us?
Go to a craft store like Michaels and take along your 40% off coupon from the Sunday paper. Buy some ‘Model Magic’. It’s like playdoh but lighter and air dries. Roll out some about 1/2″ thick and then have your daughter press her hand into it. When it dries, you can coat it with clear craft paint or leave it as is. Glue a magnet on the back of it and it is the best refrigerator magnet. I gave these to my daughter’s grandparents four years ago and they STILL have them on the fridge and STILL love them. If you are looking for a gift for them from just you and your husband consider a small basket of old time candies. If you go to Cracker Barrel they have a bunch of different kinds. Older folks appreciate gifts of food and they will have a good time eating their way down memory lane. Hope this helps!
