1. Twig Catfish should be fine. 2. Common Whiptail Catfish. 3. Swordtails will reproduce ALOT!! So be careful. 4. Mollies also reproduce like crazy and they can be very aggressive. 5. Platies are another crazy reproducer. 6. Pearl Gourami is a bit of a tricky guy to find, can be picky too. 7. Harliquin ( Rasboras? ) are a small fish and might be bullied. 8. Black Widdow Tetras are a nice addition, might be bullies. 9. Bleeding Heart Tetra also is a laughing stock. lol? 10. Black Phantoms will be nice and again might be bullied. 11. Here is the bully, the monster and the eating machine, these guys can and will outgrow your tank and will be a terrorist to your fish. Plants and bogwood ( driftwood would really be better ), make sure you have many hiding places and tubes for the Knifes to hide, Java Moss and Java Fern are good beginner plants. To me it sounds slightly overstocked, some of those fish are quite advanced too. Good luck!!!

….the whip tail cats grow up to 5″ ….twig cat also grows 4.5″ to 6″ …the “black ghost” knife fish will get 16″ (toooo bigggg) …maybe consider the “zuccinni pleco” and the pictus “polka-dot” catfish….pictus and corys are good groupie cats that work hard ….dwarf gouramis will all be fine with the tetras, raspboras & swords …..the mollies and platies however, prefer a big more heat and more salt than the tetras, gouramis or raspboras, in order for them to stay healthy ….the bogwood will look great, soak it in a bucket for a few days to see how much tannin is left in it….the leaching will drop the ph quickly ….easy plants include anubias (see the web site plant geek) go tot the difficulty button and check out the list of easy, very easy or moderate plants….i stck with the very easy ones to easy ones perosnally

Your aquarium is having a capacity of 59.8 US gallons. Many places will tell you the 1 inch of fish per 1 gallon of water as a rule. However no fish should be bigger than 3 inches (this is a freshwater guideline only also deduct the volume for the decorations of logs, toys or rocks) More water volume per inch being better. This implies that a safe bet is about 20 -22 inches of fish length, in my opinion you are slightly over crowded. It really comes down to how often you will be performing water changes. Be realistic with yourself. Are you really going to stick with regular water changes every couple of days in an overstocked tank, week in and week out? If you answer no to this question then you definitely need to go very light on the stocking levels in your fish tank. And I urge you to resist the temptation to overcrowd your fishes. One last thing, always use the future adult size of the fish when determining the potential stocking levels for your fish tank.
