My old Land-Line update is based on surveyed units of change, how will this work with OS MasterMap Topography Layer?
The supply of Land-Line updates are based on the amount of ongoing change that is surveyed and incorporated into the National Topographic Database. This change is measured in units known as ‘surveyed units of change’. The value of one unit is based on the type of ground feature surveyed. OS MasterMap does not use triggers of change, instead, the online service enables customers to define when they want to receive updates via the Change Only Update (COU) facility. This allows customers to select the frequency of update that they receive (which is currrently a minimum of every 6 weeks).
