My printer appears to consume a larger than normal quantity of toner?

1) Prints with greater coverage consume more toner. Simply stated if you double your print ( data ) information, your toner consumption will also double. 2) Your copy/print density may be too high. Reduce your density in the scanner and/or density in the Powerprint Controller. 3) An ill maintained printer will cause toner consumption to vary. Arrange a “maintenance schedule” with your local KIP service dealer.
