There are two possibilities for this. The first is that the waste water hose and the product water hoses are interchanged. The waste and product hoses attach to the rounded end of the membrane housing. The waste line should be orange and is offset to one side of the rounded end of the housing. The product water line will be either yellow or blue and is next to the waste line, but centered on the end. There should also be a flow restrictor in the waste line at the compression fitting. The second is that the membrane has not been seated fully. Open up the membrane housing cap and push in harder on the membrane until it cannot go in anymore then put the cap back on.
