My SMTP link gives the error UIDL not supported and DBRemote will not run in continuous mode. Why?

In versions prior to 5.5.02 UIDL is used by DBRemote to provide an way to keep a pointer into the SMTP inbox. It prevents DBRemote from having to log in and re-read every message in the inbox every minute. In version 5.5.02 and beyond the requirement for UIDL has been removed. UIDL was never required if you run DBRemote in batch mode.
