My spies/armies/diplomates/assassins sometimes disappear on the campaign map. Do I have a bug?

It is related to their original Rome animation of kneeing down while hiding or after spending all their movement. Currently we neither have the knowhow nor the manpower to fix this animation on our unique strat models.
