My swimming pool pump basket is full of little blue plastic circles which look like contact lenses what are they and what should I do?
These blue circles are from your bubble cover and they indicate that it needs replacing. This is quite normal when covers are getting old. It is possible to slow down the aging process of your cover. Covering the summer cover with a white plastic sheet when it is on the side of the swimming pool will help prevent the suns rays breaking down the plastic. Another thing to bear in mind is when you super-chlorinate the swimming pool, do not put the cover back on immediately, and wait until the chlorine level is back down to a normal level.
