My terminal shows a “Recoverable error” message upon startup of the terminal emulation software, and also exits the emulation functions every 30 minutes. Whats going on?
A1: For demonstration and evaluation purposes, the terminal emulation software has the capability to run in evaluation (unlicensed) mode. The symptoms described are what is seen when there is no valid “authorization code” known to the emulation software. Contact Intelligent Instrumentation (see the second paragraph of this document) for the assignment of an authorization code. You will need the serial number affixed to the cover of this document when calling for the authorization code. Then follow the instructions given in installation instructions, step 3C above.
