My ThermaChef pot has discolored/ tarnished?
A. Pans should never be left empty over an open flame or heat source. The excessive heat can cause damage and discoloration to the interior and exterior surface. Although harmless, this discoloration can spoil the appearance of your cookware, but can be easily removed with a quality stainless steel cleaner. Q. My ThermaChef pot has warped on the bottom and is no longer flat. A. To prevent warpage always allow your cookware to cool prior to immersing in water. Q. When I remove the bake pan by gripping the metal handle it is unbalance and can food inside can tip out. A. Due to the possible uneven distribution of liquid in the baking pan, when lifting the pan out of the ThermaChef take care to keep it level.
