National Curriculum Levels – What Are They?

0

The government created National Curriculum Levels so that students in Years 7, 8 and 9 could have a clear sense of progress and could understand how to improve. Separate levels are awarded for listening, reading, writing and speaking (the four skills). Your four levels may be different, depending on your strengths and weaknesses. As a general rule, you should be aiming for Level 5 by the end of Year 9 if you wish to succeed at GCSE level. Some students at Trinity even get Level 6 or 7!
