There is a wide variation of nutrient needs for children ages two to seventeen. Fit4Kids was specifically formulated to meet the nutrient needs for toddlers to teenagers. Special care was taken to ensure that nutrient amounts were neither too high for smaller children nor too low for older children. Also, the vitamins utilized in Fit4Kids are in large food-vitamin complexes and contain many phytonutrients that are not provided by synthetic (chemicallyderived) vitamins found in many vitamin/mineral supplements. Whole food vitamin complexes are absorbed much better than synthetic vitamins and are better utilized by the body. Many studies show that whole food-vitamin complexes are absorbed as much as 4 times more than synthetic vitamins. They are also much safer for children.
