Ordering Prescriptions - Prescription Orders Question: How do I request/fill a prescription from a different drug store?

To transfer a prescription from another pharmacy to Walgreens, follow these steps: • Click on Pharmacy to enter the Pharmacy section of the website. • Next, click on Place Prescription Order, directly under the Home tab. You will then be taken to the What Type Of Order Would You Like To Place? screen. • Click on Transfer a prescription from a different pharmacy. • Enter the name and phone number of the transferring pharmacy, and the name and strength of the drug. This information should be listed on the prescription bottle or packaging. If you know the prescription number, doctor's name and phone number, and the quantity of the prescription, you can also enter that information here. When you are finished, click Add to Order. • Review your order on the Shopping Cart screen. If you wish to enter additional prescriptions, click Transfer a Prescription from Another Pharmacy.
