Paracetamol, ibuprofen, aspirin…which is better for these types of pain?

Headache/migraine paracetamol, which you can also have ibuprofen with between the paracetamol doses i.e. take paracetamol and then if the pain is bad two hours later you can take ibuprofen, the same for earache. The best for menstrual pain is ibuprofen (to help reduce the inflammation associated with cervical contractions, or aspirin. For muscle pain the best is ibuprofen, as it helps to reduce inflammation. I must add however that it is entirely dependant on your other medical history. If for example you have, or have ever had, stomach ulcers then neither ibuprofen or aspirin should be taken without a doctor’s advice. Also if you have asthma, especially if you have nasal polyps as well, then again no doctor would recommend the use of ibuprofen or aspirin, as the risk of sensitivity would outweigh any benefits and paracetamol, maybe with codeine added with be the only alternative. Also never give aspirin to young people or children as they can develop a rare but serious condition calle
