Two suggestions… If it’s a postal letter, call to verify they sent it. Too many scams out there. also, I wouldn’t give any personal info to a unsolicited email. It could be a person phishing. Call your local Social Security office…Safer & more secure that way. I’ve never gotten anything in snail-mail about a password request code, unless this is something new…
