per lateral decrease when the pressure is increased?
Increasing the supply pressure causes the flow rate through the lateral to increase, which causes friction losses to increase. When friction losses are large, the pressure at the end of a long lateral will be less than the pressure at the beginning, causing non-uniform discharge rates from the SPOT-SPITTERS along the lateral. The SPOT-SPITTER Installation Instructions give the maximum lateral length for each pressure that will result in good uniformity.
