Pharmacists in our pharmacy group undertake CPD through in-house training. Can the Board accredit this activity or advise how many points can be claimed?

The Board does not accredit CPD courses or activities. You will need to evaluate the activity using the criteria listed in Appendix One of the ENRICHVIC program manual and individual pharmacists undertaking the activities must assess the activity in relation to their individual learning plans and consider the likelihood of: • Improved performance in area of practice after educational activity; • Improved health outcomes for patients; • A change in the knowledge or skills base of the participant. Those individuals involved in developing the in-house training will need to give careful consideration to the course content and the time commitment required by participants in order to advise the participants regarding the CPD point allocation for the training.
