Physcial affection displays in public…?
As-Salaam Alaikum I have female friends who are not Muslim, and some time they get angry or upset, because they want their husband to show a little-affection, in public, such as, holding hands. And I ask them why do they need this show of public affection, they said that its not a need, its just that, G-d created the woman with the ability to give and to receive affection, and she is not shy nor embarrass of holding in public the hand of the man that she is in love with, her husband, and she want him to feel the same why about her, and show his affection, if need be, in public, its natural. Sister, the only time this would be (haram), is when your intention were wrong, lets say, if you were trying to show the public that Muslims are not different from any other people, or married couple then this (public) affection would be haram.
