Political Cartoons, Do They Have Secret Meanings?

Today is December 20th, 2007, I’m Melanie, and I am here to explain some secret meanings of the very popular in newspapers, political cartoons. Political Cartoons are well, what they are! They are cartoons about current events in the world. Many artists draw insults to great leaders or dictators of other countries. At our future school, we learned about how to identify the secret meanings of these creative comics. The first step in identifying the current event the comic relates to is to look at everything in the picture. Then think about what currently is happening in the world. Once you have done that, all you have to do is match up! Usually, these comics express the artists feelings about the events. “I love to look at really old political cartoons, like ones from the World Wars. I just love to see what some of the sides the people took back then.” says Royce,
