pregnancy and period
There are various factors that can affect your period. One of the most obvious is your age. If you are very young (under 30) it is not likely that you are having symptoms of peri-menopause. There are cases where women in their 30’s have started peri-menopause, which will make your cycle irregular. Other factors are your general health, stress, diet and prior use of birth control and/or other medications. There is also the anxiety of wanting to become pregnant. All of these things can affect your cycle.
