Premature Wear: Wear which occurs earlier than would normally be expected considering the Vehicle’s age, mileage and service history. Whether a Part has failed prematurely due to wear is determined by comparing the extent of wear on the failed Part with other associated or similar Parts of the Vehicle, if no similar wear is apparent on such Parts then this would be deemed a Failure due to Premature Wear.
