Presets 98 and 99 come set with NOAA frequencies. Does this mean I can get NOAA weather broadcasts on the Degen DE1121?

No, apparently not. While you can call up these presets, you won’t receive the NOAA. However, you might get some air traffic. Notice that the radio frequency display (“Sub LCD”) shows 129Mhz or 130Mhz which is airband, not the 162Mhz that the NOAA broadcasts on.
