You are out of luck, you worked under the table, that makes you an independent contractor and not an employee. Independent contractors do not get unemployment, but don't worry come tax time you will get to pay all the employer payroll taxes in addition to your employee payroll taxes. If the guy really has the assets you say he does then he will definitely know how to report the money he paid you as money paid to an independent contractor, just to cover himself if you try to push the issue. You will end up losing more money than he does. Better just chalk this up to experience and learn why there are labor laws and why you should follow them. Also if you tell his wife about the girlfriends and you can not prove your allegations are true (legally in a courtroom) then telling her would be setting yourself up to be sued for slander/libel probably pushing you into bankruptcy and messing up your chances of passing a background check to land that law enforcement job youare ater.
