The network version of Key Wizard should be installed on each local PC for faster operation. Installing the software on the server/network is recommended but not mandatory. That decision should be left up to each end users Network Administrator. If the software is not installed on the server/network, only the data files (keys, keyholders, locations, etc.) would be accessed from the server/network. Key Wizard is a file-based program. An example of a file-based program is Microsoft Access. Key Wizard software was written in Clarion, a 4th generation programming language which is similar to Visual Basic and runs at a speed comparable to C++.
