radiator fan wont turn off :(?
i have a 1992 2-door toyota tercel, the radiator fan turns on when i start the car, and does not turn off, isnt it only suppose to turn on when it needs to, it turns off when i turn the car off. Another question is that my car does not leak oil, but i think it absorbs alot of it, i put in about two bottles every weak, can u give me sum suggestions on these questions, thank you in advance.. :)) A: Well, if it turns ON, when you start the car… that is a GOOD thing! If it turns OFF when you shut the car OFF, that sort-of MIGHT be a ‘GOOD’ thing! Let’s DO this one first! YES… it SHOULD only come ON when it’s needed! I don’t know enough about ‘foreign’ cars to say that I’m an expert, but… from MY experience, the fan WILL come ON, when you start the car… Then… the computer, and all the other ‘sensors’ will tell the FAN whether or not it needs to be ON, and/OR when to shut-off, and when to come back ON!
