As to Term 1 – when you go to work you are on your employers premises as an invitee – you have no legal right to be there except under the terms allowed by the employer as stipulated in your Contract of Employment.So technically these are legal.However even in Ireland if you objected they could not force a search but could probably sack you without any penalty.If they thought you were concealing an offence by objecting they could call the guards and leave it to them but any more would be probably be assault on you /unlawful detention of your person /trespass to goods (your car). Term 2 is daft and probably unenforceable as I doubt any legal damage would result if you told someone who you had worked for in the last year ( unless you work for theSecret Service and there is another law which makes doing so a crime ??? ).
