Refrigerator not working, what could it be?

When you say not working, I’m assuming you mean not cooling. I had this problem 2 weeks ago and here is what I did. I’m not sure how yours is made, but inside there should be a panel that you can take off.( Mine was in the freezer.) Once opened I noticed that the coils were frozen. I learned that when the coils are frozen the auto defrost mechanism is not working. Anyway, I defrosted all ice with a blow dryer. Now it works perfectly. The only drawback is that I have to defrost my fridge until I can get it fixed.
