Hi, I’m an Australian, but i was born in Hong Kong so I have a Hong Kong identity card. I want to travel to China, but I’m thinking about getting there via Vietnam or Laos. I’m just wondering is it possible to use the card to get into China via those borders, or only through the shenzhen-hong kong border? Also, does having a Hong Kong identity card allow me to work in China without a work visa? I am an Australian citizen.
