In many cases these amounts are the same as #3.7 (collection total) and #3.11 (total operating expenditures); however, in Section 4 we want the amount of #3.7 that came from local sources only. If you used your Loan Star Libraries grant award to buy materials it would have to be subtracted from the total in #3.7 for the amount to go in #4.1. The total in #4.1 cannot be greater than the total in #3.7. The amount that goes in #4.2 would be how much of the total in #3.11 came from local sources. If there were no grants or funds that came from outside your county then #3.11 and #4.2 would be the same amount.
