Grin and bear it might be your best option here. Sorry to say. You MAY be able to say something about the ‘slutty’ nature of the dress, though. Could you let your SIL know that with your bust size, the dress is a bit more showy than it should be? Ask her if she would be okay with perhaps adding a little material to the top so you’re a bit more covered? The other factor is the wearing spanx. If you are wearing two sets and the dress is still tight, then perhaps you need a bigger size dress all together. Is that still a possibility. (I don’t know about the UK, but in the US wedding and bridesmaids’ dress sizes are generally much different than ‘regular’ clothes!) Of course you could simply ASK if she’s thought of hair do’s yet. I wouldn’t make any suggestions, though. And she may be the type of person who says “I have an updo, I want all of my girls to wear their hair at least partly down” so that she “stands out.” This may not be something you have to worry about. Mention that you are very honored to have been asked, but that due to your large breasts, your worried that ‘they’ will ruin her wedding pictures, too provocative, etc. just as you have done here and share your worries with her. She might be thinking the same thing but is afraid of insulting you if she says something! Understanding that dresses sizes are designed on the law of ‘averages’ helps. If your breast size is out of proportion to the rest of your body, your best bet would be to buy the dress at least 1 or even 2 sizes bigger, so there is ample material to tailor the dress back down to ‘fit all of you like a glove’. Two sided body tape along the top of the bodice would also help as this will stop the weight of your breasts pulling the front down. The bra below worked so well for a 42DD friend.
