Shield of North Carolina (BCBSNC) and does this affect services at Moses Cone now?
Moses Cone Health System, located in Greensboro, NC (and surrounding areas), canceled its BCBSNC contracts, effective November 1, 2007, during negotiations over new reimbursement terms. If this is not resolved by November 1, 2007, cancellation would mean that our State Health Plan members enrolled in the Blue OptionsSM PPO plans would receive out-of-network services if they continued to use Moses Cone Health System and affiliated providers.
