Should all zoos be closed down?

NO!! I think zoos should not be closed down. They dont just put animals on display. They provide educational opportunities for people to learn about poaching, and how what they do affects the animals they can view. They also have breeding programs for endangered animals and provide habitats for animals whose natural habitat has been destroyed. They are an important part of a lot of research for breeding, ancestry and other areas of information regarding all animals that are important for us to know if we are to maintain a healthy and stable ecosystem and if we want our future generations to have the opportunities to see the creatures in real life.

No. Zoos do far more than put animals on display. They care for animals unable to live in the wild anymore due to injuries. They do vital work in keeping species from becoming extinct, such as breeding programs for the Giant Panda and other highly endangered creatures. They work to foster an understanding and a love of animals in order to try to fire people up to save animal habitat and better protect the natural world. Most zoos work very hard to provide entertainment and the best environment for their animals that they can, given the money they have to work with.

No, I believe most Zoos are monitored and satisfactory or better. The best thing about them is that children get to see them firsthand and get a very personal appreciation of nature and her creatures.
