Should divers wearing speedos shave there legs?

0

Throughout my 10 years of competitive diving, I don’t ever recall a male diver shaving his legs just because he wore a speedo. When divers go to grab their legs they need a good grip as to not slip out of their position. I’m assuming that male divers get used to diving with hair on their legs, so shaving before a competition could cause them to perform poorly on a dive. If you feel you dive better with shaven legs, go for it, otherwise, you’ll be fine with hair on your legs. Plus, the judges aren’t looking for the hair on your legs, they want to see the dive, straight legs pointed toes.
