Should Drug Talk Be Banned In AA Meetings?
Friday, May 14 2004 Thank God we were allowed to talk about drugs at those early meetings. Thank God I was able to hear the experience, strength, and hope of fellow alcoholics who also had a drug story. Thank God I was allowed to say, “I’m David. I’m a drug addict and alcoholic.” This, of course, was before singleness of purpose became a big deal.
