Regardless of their opinion, most Blues will shake their heads wearily and become pretty cynical.Years of perceived mismanagement at board level have left a pretty indelible mark on the psyche of Evertonians.Plan, finance and build a new ground? From scratch? Most Evertonians simply don’t believe the board is capable..This aside, the issue is back and this time there’s a different context – SOMEBODY WANTS US! The offer by Knowsley Council of three prime sites on which to build a stadium has given the issue new life and for the first time since the idea of Everton leaving Goodison was mooted, the tone is much more proactive and positive. No competition with other proposed developments. No desperation.It’s a sign of how the debate among supporters has progressed that the first opposition to the Knowsley option
