Should House Slytherin be disbanded?

Disbanding only Slytherin would, in my opinion, be a gross act of both prejudice and laziness on the part of the Hogwarts staff. To do so would be, in my opinion: – to say that Slytherin was the only “evil” House and was, in a real sense, inferior to the other three (this sounds a whole lot like Voldemort’s blood purity ideas to me) – to run away from a mere memory of Voldemort and refuse to continue the fight against evil even after his death – to “throw out the baby with the bathwater,” rejecting the essential values of ambition, determination, etc. along with the prejudice and Dark Arts fascination There is nothing innately wrong with Slytherin House — the problem is the prejudice both for and against it that has grown up over the years.
