I have 2 Kenwood Excelon KFC-170 running a Pioneer DEH-P6800MP head unit that puts out 22 Watts Rms/50 Peak X 4 channels. The speakers can handle 2-40 watts RMS (peak power 200 watts) with a frequency response of 35-25,000 Hz I had bad experiences with Car Audio before and do not know too much. I just want everything to sound the best it may. Should I have a low power amplifier for front speakers and if so how strong? Would I explode if I did? Please give advice. I have 2 JL VR’s in the deck and are powered by a 2×200 channel amp that sounds good, plus an eight-inch tube Bazooka in the trunk for the lower a little more fair.
