Should I buy gaynor minden pointe shoes?
Leo shoes are cheap in every way possible. I’d rather dance pointe in bare feet. You’re in a crappy shoe and you can tell. If you have flat feet and little arch then you’re going to want a soft shank in your shoe. Gaynor Minden shoes are designed for PROFESSIONAL level dancers. They are dangerous on students, and they’re absolutely not appropriate for beginners. I won’t let any of my students wear them. They’re a performance shoe and they’re not meant to be worn for long periods of time. The shoes do all the work for you and you’ll develop lazy and scary habits as a dancer. You will not develop any strength or technique. If you decide to try another brand of shoe you’ll find that you’re very weak. Think of Gaynor Mindens like a crutch. Without them, you’d be nothing.
