Should I install Creative Zen firmware updates?
Good question. Basically speaking there is no need to do the update if you do not experiencing any difficulties or problems with your player or/and you don’t use some additional features which might come with the update package (eg. Audible support, Thai character set etc.). There are just few situations when Firmware Upgrade is really necessary: 1. Player can’t be turned on, but works as Removable Drive. 2. Player is turning off after certain period of time, but works as Removable Drive or doesn’t work as Removable Drive neither. 3. You are experiencing some distortions during MP3 or WMA playback. 4. Player shows ‘Firmware Error’ or constantly ‘No Music’ message on the display. 5. Other strange behavior.
