Wire won’t keep the heat and humidity inside as tanks do. What I do for all my larger herps is build a proper sized habitat out of wood and use a sealant. You can use either sliding or hinged doors made from plastic or galss. You could drill some holes for better air circulation. This is much cheaper than paying for giant tanks. If you’re not a handy kind of person, you could go to hardware stores that offer assistance, and explain what you want to build, I’m sure they will help. As for branches, I have known balls that both like branches, and remaining on the ground. You can get branches from petstores, or find one and then soak it in hot salt water for a week or so. So try it and see if yours will like it. Deffinately add some hides. They don’t have to be fancy, empty cardboard boxes work great.
