Ensure you make them aware from the start. If selected for officer training your medical records will be made available to the RAF and will be checked. Ref your best chance: If not already a member then find your local ATC Squadron and join – Approximately 70% of RAF personnel are from the ATC and your local recruiting office will most probably recommend you take this course anyway. It will show your commitment to following a career in the RAF. This will give you access to free gliding, flying and scholarship courses based on your record and educational achievements plus an edge over others. If you get to Uni it will also put you in a favourable position to join the UAS which is a major springboard to Cranwell College.
