Should I not go to San Diego because of the swine influenza?

I think you should take the trip to San Diego. You may not come into contact with any people who have been exposed to the Swine flu. You’re more likely to catch a cold than the Swine flu. Your best bet is staying in San Diego and on Catalina Island. Don’t go into Tijuana at all. None of the cases of the Swine flu have caused any deaths in the U.S. Most people who’ve caught the Swine flu have had similar symptoms to most other types of flu. I wouldn’t be that panicked about it. You can go to the doctor and be treated if you come down with it, but I seriously doubt that will happen. Make sure to wash your hands often and if you think someone may have the disease, you can wear a mask. All the places you’re traveling to are wonderful to visit, and you don’t want to miss out on all the wonderful experiences. By the way, if you get the chance, take an inland island tour on Catalina Island. You’ll get to see free-roaming buffalo. I got some pictures of the buffalo close-up. You can’t get that
