Should I purchase a 6000 or 8000 RPM Mini-Tach?
A. This will depend on your engine build, however it should be noted that the Mini-Tach cannot be damaged by over-reving (over scale). The 8000 is very popular, but if you are not frequently exceeding 6000 RPM, the 6000 tach may be the better choice. The 6000 also has a less compressed scale and is therefore easier to read.
